Valedictorian of Buena Vista High School Class of 2013, All Around Senior, Senior Class President, and National Honor Society Vice President.
Twelve-year 4-H member; Hub Livestock 4-H Club and Chaffee County 4-H Council President; 2014 Chaffee County Alumni of the Year: completed projects from Market Beef and Sheep to Cake Decorating and Model Rocketry.
Livestock showman from the Chaffee County Fair to the National Western Stock Show and Arizona National in 4-H; now a volunteer assistant from the June Classic Jackpot Show to Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo.
Brain tumor patient diagnosed 8/16/2013, cleared to “live life as pleased” 12/2/13.
